We have a number of venues on our almost 100 acres of land with beautiful vineyard landscapes, and a 1000 tree apple orchard. You won't be disappointed with the photo opportunities here at Freedom Run Winery!
We boast an elegant Tasting Room with a contemporary 2 story Barrel Room visible through a wall of glass, and our Rustic Barn was built in 1826 with stone from the Erie Canal, and has been fully modernized.
Together with a tent, we can accommodate any size wedding, and we can work with any budget, and even have a payment plan.

We are located on the Niagara Escarpment, in Lockport, New York, just 30 minutes from Buffalo International Airport and the Canadian border. Freedom Run Winery perfectly harmonizes indoor and outdoor space, and your photographer will be thrilled with the abundant photographic opportunities. Your guests will be raving about the warm and inviting atmosphere, the great wine selection and land to table catering possibilities. Your Special Day will start with a tour of the venues at Freedom Run Winery, and a wine tasting. The calendar is filling up fast, but there are still dates available for 2024, and we are booking into 2025. Our Venues
The Rustic Barn
The Rustic Barn is a large timber framed post-and-beam barn, built in 1826 with stone from the Erie Canal. This structure has been preserved, yet modernized with ladies and gents bathrooms and is handicap accessible. It is very versatile, and can be used in conjunction with our other venues or with the addition of a tent.
There is a raised platform with a magnificent cut glass chandelier, making it easy to see and be seen. This is a perfect place to hold a wedding ceremony, have a sit down, buffet or family style dinner, and it even converts to a ‘night club’ with the doors wide open for dancing under the stars.
This venue provides a space with a unique rustic ambiance that can’t be beat.
The Vineyards
The Vineyards are very popular at any time of the year. Some couples choose to have an open air ceremony overlooking the vineyards and 1000 tree apple orchard, with the Niagara Escarpment forest in the background, or the stark backdrop of a black and white, with a blanket of snow signifying new beginnings.
Any of the very versatile venues can be combined to create a truly personalized Wedding or Special Event at Freedom Run Winery.
The Tasting Room offers a contemporary feel, with a floating maple ceiling, bamboo flooring and stone accenting the walls. A pair of granite topped bars fronted with colorful 'blown glass' disks, and tall hand crafted barrel tables set the stage for this elegant venue.
This venue can be easily combined with the other venues, and is often used for the initial meet and greet, and can be set with the dessert tables after a meal in the Barrel Room, and as a dance area spilling out to a covered patio.
The Tasting Room
The Barrel Room adjoins the Tasting Room through a floor to ceiling, wall to wall set of glass doors that leads into a double height room which features original art, large stainless steel wine tanks and oak barrels which line the area that can be back lit with subtle mood lighting.

The Vineyard Manor House built in 1826 with stone from the Erie Canal has been restored to its original grandeur.
Decor is ‘shabby chic’ yet elegant and comfy, and has a large foyer with curved wooden staircase, perfect for photo ops. This 4 bedroom house offers accommodation year round.
