How is it that one utterance from one character in one movie turned people against one of the world’s most noble grape varieties?  The most planted grape in Bordeaux, and the second most planted wine grape in the world, Merlot is a chameleon, ranging from fruity, smooth, and easy-going to age-worthy, full-bodied, and sophisticated. It should never be underestimated, and certainly not associated with one character’s “F-bomb”.
